Porcelain Doll is a poetic audio-visual manifesto expressing the myriad ways that people, particularly women, have resisted letting their worth be measured by how ably they serve others.

Some of the footage in the film includes: The Blood of a Poet (1932) by Jean Cocteau, Cinderella or The Glass Slipper (1912) by George Méliès, and The Hallucinations of Baron Munchausen (1911) by Georges Méliès among others.

"Shards of ideas blend seamlessly as her mesmerizing audio-visual poem unfolds. Livia performs alone on a stage in front of a statue brought to life in Jean Cocteau's The Blood of a Poet. The viewer is then swept into collage of playful resistance with women throughout time encapsulating the sentiment, "I'm a person, not a porcelain doll."

"Delightfully surprising and visually striking, you won't want to miss this viewing experience!"
